A day out in McDonald’s turns sour

Luke Jones and his partner Ryan Gould aren’t the average couple. Just like many others, they suffer from problems that make it hard for many to really understand their relationship. Unfortunately, their public dilemmas actually pulled in a mother and her blind daughter, who was bound to a wheelchair.

That same day, Luke and Ryan met the mum and daughter by chance at a famous place called Market Street. But again, they met her by coincidence at a nearby McDonald’s on St. Ann’s Square. This was just shortly afterward.

Fat-shaming at its worst

During the first encounter that the couple had with the mum and daughter, they blocked her path, confirmed prosecutors. But wait, that was just the start of their evil intentions. At that time, the mum came accompanied by another friend and her two young kids.

Out of the blue, Luke Jones told the mum to ‘calm down’ as no one was looking at her. In addition, he was daring enough to call her a ‘fat ugly mess’ too. “Just calm down and shut your mouth,” he again repeated.

The woman claimed that she felt as if the comments were more directed towards her daughter. And as an uber protective parent, she simply couldn’t tolerate it any longer. Later, however, Luke mentioned how the comments were made towards the mum herself, right after he overheard the mum having a conversation with someone else. On that phone call, the mum told her friend on the phone how people were staring at her.

 The story picks up pace

Right after the pair had a row, they went face to face against one another. Soon, after a few minutes, they went their own separate ways, mentioned the prosecutor.

But wait, that wasn’t the end. Shortly later, they coincidently bumped into one another again at a McDonald’s restaurant on St. Ann’s Square. Here, Luke Jones made another comment towards the mother. He told her to force her daughter to keep it quiet. Moreover, he even went ahead and took a selfie with the mum in the background. Clearly, he displayed weird behavior the whole time.

Clearly, this was a hate crime of the worst kind. Previous records showed how Jones served jail time in the past too for his crude behavior. Still, he continued to spread hate. The court convicted him again for posing as a threat with his abusive nature.
