In Reddit, a user called his ex-wife ‘trashy’ when he found out through the streaming app that she was having an affair.

Netflix provides great entertainment, bringing family and friends together to watch different shows.

However, the app can also be a cause of disagreement. One reason is that a Netflix owner might give his password to one too many users, or through broken promises of waiting to watch the next episode of a show together.

Most disagreements caused by the streaming app are relatively minor. Until things got personal for one user.

In Reddit, a man, who goes by the username ‘jakiwi3’, vented out his frustration and revealed that his wife and the person she was apparently cheating with used his Netflix account to reveal their affair.

The user shared a picture of his account on Reddit, indicating that the unfaithful couple changed the email address so he could no longer use it.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the guy his wife was cheating with changed the name of the account to “Guy f***ing your ex-wife”, referencing to himself.

In the comments section, the Reddit user explained that he and his wife are ‘separating’, which is likely why he refers to her as his ‘ex’,  but he made it clear that he was ‘not even divorced’ when she started her affair with another guy.

“Not sure who is trashier?” the man shared the picture on the Reddit thread ‘r/trashy’. “My ex-wife or this douche. Not even divorced.”

Other Redditors were quick to show their support for the man, with the majority of them saying that he should contact Netflix and tell them that he didn’t ask for the email address to be changed – a move which would likely stop his ex-wife’s use of the streaming platform.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Redditor and his ex-wife had joint ownership over the Netflix account.

“[Its] easier said than done while separating marital wise,” he said in the comments.

The man went on to say that the move was ‘kind of a slap in the face’, though he showed his gratitude to the users encouraging him to stay positive as he moves on.
