According to reports, Obama’s party was said to have scaled back after it was revealed he was set to invite more than 500 guests.

Despite the scaled-back birthday bash, the 44th US President still managed to invite his famous celebrity friends, including Jay-Z, Beyonce, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, George Clooney, Don Cheadle, and Oprah Winfrey.

The Sun has reported that a huge marquee was set up at Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard mansion.

The vegan menu was reportedly to include Hawaiian favorite Spam musubi made with plant-based alternatives to beef, pork, and eggs. Cheesesteak eggrolls made with fake beef and faux cheese sauce were also served.

Meanwhile, the New York Post reported that some pictures from the event shared by rapper Trap Beckham and manager TJ Chapman showed “top-shelf liquor and cigars, and s’mores cocktails garnished with melted marshmallows.”

For guests that are not on a vegan diet, steak, chicken, and shrimp along with rice, greens and potatoes were offered.

Obama’s party also had baseball caps customized for the occasion, which read “44 at 60″ in reference to him being the 44th US President.

The “44 at 60” theme was also shown on gold napkins, masks, and backstage passes.

Face masks were also supplied for the former president’s lavish party to keep guests safe, which had a “44×60” logo.

Meanwhile, critics said that the spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus is a big concern.

Just recently, a reporter from the New York Times came under fire for suggesting that Obama’s star-studded 60th birthday party was not a high Covid risk event because of the “sophisticated, vaccinated” guests who attended.

The CDC recommended last week that people – including those fully vaccinated against the virus- should still wear face masks even in public indoor spaces.
