One transgender activist’s pictures are going viral and the world can’t help but notice.
The bold 27-year-old has reportedly bared her trans bulge, in an effort to showcase solidarity with other transgender women around the world.
The event comes in light of a recent harassing incident, where commenters started pinpointing a transgender women’s ‘untucked penis,’ seen vividly beneath her skirt.
How one women’s trans bulge image is mustering strength for other trans women around the world
Imogen Loxley is a 27-year-old assistant for customer services. While it may seem like a pretty regular job to you, the trans activist is more than meets the eye.
It all started on April 30th, while running her usual office errands, Loxley witnessed something out of the ordinary. Coincidently, a young teenager was being harassed. And this teenager wasn’t your everyday girl, she was a trans woman. And if that wasn’t enough, the reason will absolutely blow your mind.
Loxley witnessed a group of people calling out the girl for her trans bulge. The very visible bulge was seen through her skirt and that became the topic for many strangers.
The incident infuriated the trans activist, causing her to jump in and support the girl. Consequently, she also made sure the transwoman got safely on a bus home.
Additionally, the incident led to the ignition of a number of Loxley’s intentions. The 27-year-old knew that this was an issue that she simply couldn’t let pass by. And it was now time to do something about the cruel incident.
Australian trans women activist bares her trans bulge to showcase women as ‘beautiful’ and ‘valid’
Loxley took matters into her own hand, the very next day. The trans activist turned to social media and did the unthinkable.
She uploaded a very obvious trans bulge photograph of herself online. And the motive behind the entire ordeal is inspiring to say the least. The 27-year-old feels that all women are beautiful and valid. Hence, trans women are simply no exception to the notion.
The activist also uploaded a very outspoken post that read as:
‘If the girl sees my photo, I’d like to tell her she is beautiful, she is valid as a woman. She doesn’t need to prove or try to impress anybody else, especially strangers. If she feels comfortable and happy with who she is, that’s all the matters.
I decided to post a photo with my complete bulge showing to say ‘yes, you see me. I may look like a pretty woman but look, I also have just what this girl has’.
Trans bulge photograph comes in light of recent trans women harassment
In a shocking confession to an already sensitive topic, the Australian trans activist disclosed some very private information about herself too. She admitted how being trans has changed her life.
The activist further spoke up about the recent trans woman harassment incidents, that simply never seem to come to a halt. The Australian spoke up again about how that one incident motivated her to post up a trans bulge picture of herself.
She added:
‘I’m still trans, I was born male and I transitioned to female. Hence, I know that a lot of people, friends, and family, see me as a woman because I look passable.
However, I did notice she was trans, which doesn’t make her any less of a woman because she may not be as passable. I did drag so I was taught how to tuck, there were little pieces with makeup I knew. She may have just started her transition.
Additionally, the activist explains how she ‘wasn’t sure’ whether or not people would accept her trans bulge picture. Coincidentally, the image got the right type of attention. Hence, there is massive respect for her initiative, with immense praise and support pouring in from all over.
