Harrowing reports confirmed the death of a one-year-old toddler who tragically passed away because of the actions of her mother.

The baby girl named Asiah was only 20-months-old but that didn’t stop her 19-year-old mother from leaving her alone for six whole days, just so she could celebrate her birthday with her friends.

Verphy Kudi was reportedly caught on CCTV footage leaving her apartment residence with the baby all alone. You can only imagine the suffering that poor girl would have gone through, longing for her mother’s care.

Local media outlets claim that the mother drank and partied her nights away with a group of friends in honor of her birthday weekend at London’s Coventry district in the year 2019.

Moreover, there is also evidence that shows how the mother even broke down in tears, adding how much she misses her little baby girl. However, she failed to return to her. Strangely, the mother spoke about how much she worried about her child because she was not used to leaving her alone like this.

But when she did find the sense to return back home, she was forced to call up 999 emergency services. “Help me, please help,” the mum cried to authorities, adding how her baby just wouldn’t wake up.

Paramedics rushed to the scene and took little Asiah to a nearby Children’s Hospital which was located in Brighton. Unfortunately, she was tragically declared dead upon arrival.

Soon, a post-mortem examination was conducted to reveal the baby’s cause of death and to authorities’ surprise, the truth was finally out in the open. This was similar to cold-blooded murder by a child’s own mother.

Horrifying results from forensic tests went on to reveal how little Asiah died from both starvation and dehydration, alongside influenza and then neglect.

Medical experts claim that she was deprived of food and water to such an extent that even if she wanted to, she wouldn’t even have the strength to cry.

Now, an inquest is hearing the case and deciding whether or not the little toddler’s death could have been prevented.
