A shocking video of a married woman has been uploaded on social media in which she is kicking and slapping a horse in the face after a hunting event.
A 37-year-old resident of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, Sarah Moulds, who is a team leader of a local pony club, director at the Knossington & Somerby Pre-School, Leicestershire, and a primary school teacher is being investigated by the RSPCA after the footage of her attack on a horse was leaked on social media.
The video shared by Hertfordshire Hunt Saboteurs, an anti-hunting campaign group, reveals that a woman in her late thirties dressed in a navy blue jacket and creamed breeches is holding the horse’s reign and slapping the animal repeatedly on the face even when the poor creature is trying to run away.
This sorrowful incident happened on Saturday afternoon after a Cottesmore Hunt. The behavior of this woman will not be accepted, no matter what.
BBC Springwatch presenter and zoologist Megan McCubbin has proclaimed that the behavior of this woman is disgusting. The CEO of the animal welfare organization Save Me Trust, Anne Brummer, said the woman should be prosecuted. She further proclaimed that the woman should not be allowed near a horse again.
In the United Kingdom, the reputation of hunting was destroyed last month after a famous huntsman was convicted of advising unidentified villagers about carrying out illegal fox hunts in the UK.
The director of the Masters of Foxhounds Association, Mark Hankinson, was found guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court of his action. He was charged when the footage of illegal activity during a webinar was found and transferred to the media and the police.
The brutal action of Sarah Moulds is not accepted by the public as well. Torturing an animal is something nobody will accept in any society. Please share this article in your social circle and ask people how they treat the animals around them. Being human beings, it is our responsibility to be kind and caring towards other living beings.
