Joel Guy Jr is definitely making plenty of heads turn with his gruesome ordeals. Recently, he was pictured inside court with the most blank expressions. Therefore, what else could you expect from such a man who carried out a stabbing parents incident.
But what exactly did his charges include? Knox County jury members took their time to read out a fairly long list of convictions with their punishments.
These included two counts for premeditated first degree murders, alongside three more counts for felony murder. However, the members and courtroom couldn’t hold their peace when they found out how he also received charges for abusing his own parents’ corpse too.

Joel Jr then made some terrifying choices to dissolve his parent’s remains using harsh chemicals. And just in case that wasn’t enough, he even severed his mom’s head in a large stockpot too.

Greed and lust for money takes control
The scary double homicide was actually a major part of a huge plot for cash. According to reports, the sick minded son wanted to cash in on a whopping $500,000 in regards to insurance benefits. Therefore, he chose to mastermind a plan, right after he sensed his parent’s retirement.
At that point in time, he also realized how his parents planned to cut him out financially. And for him, that would mean serious trouble.
While the case’s sentencing hearing is in November, he is currently imprisoned for 51 years, for each of his charges. Thankfully, that means that he will remain behind bars for the rest of his life.
