A father is sharing his heartbreak after revealing how his son falsely accused him of carrying out abuse.
While the father agrees that the problem of child abuse is becoming more and more common with each passing day and how important it is for children to speak up about such issues instead of suffering in silence, his story is going viral because it’s something that hardly ever occurs.
“I agree that both physical, mental, and sexual abuse is super traumatic for any child. But what does a parent do when their own blood falsely accuses their own parents of doing something they never did,” he cried.
In this case, the parent becomes the victim and they’re left in the most helpless state imaginable.
The father who was identified as Seth Meyers says he hopes his story gets the right type of attention that it deserves. And all those parents who suffer in silence shouldn’t,” he went on to add boldly.
Seth said that his son’s school kept on sending out calls each and every day. Confused and worried as to what was going on, Seth opted to pick his son up himself from school and meet his teacher too.
To his horror, Seth claims that his own son accused him of something that he couldn’t even imagine in his wildest dreams.
“What my son said and how he mentioned that he would not go back home with me left me appalled in so many ways. I was speechless, my son said that I would spank him like I always did which was not true,” he added.
The school staff used the words child abuse and that sent chills down Seth’s spine. “I had no idea my son could make up such horrifying and untrue stories about me.” Seth was a licensed psychologist and what his son was doing was very evident to him.
“He wanted to blame someone for his bad behavior so he could find an excuse to continue.” But Seth was not going to let that occur anymore. “I learned to forgive my son but I was never going to trust him again,” the dad explained.
After the unbelievable incident, Seth opted to share with the public some guidelines on how to cope with such children. While he finds it hard to forget what went on, he truly hopes no parent ever has to endure what he went through again.
