Sophomore apologizes for comments
After the case, Katherine reportedly apologized. Meanwhile, she explained her stance on the situation to Fox News. Here, she said she had nothing against the movement. Hence, she simply questioned the funding.
The sophomore also expressed how she actually supports the BLM theme and ideals. This was a mere case of misunderstanding that led to probation. While the teen tried to appeal to the advisory board, her decision was rejected. Moreover, it all soon turned into a matter of white privilege.
