Pregnant Woman Arrested For Posting Anti-Lockdown Posts From Home


We mean in this in the most humble way possible when we say the cops can arrest you for some things you post online.

Well, that includes big things such as showing violence or display of heavy armory.

Did you know, it is against the law since COVID-19 is on our last nerve, to hold parties at your home trespassing the rule of minimum people. Well, in some countries such as the UK or Australia, not many people are allowed, certainly not big parties. In even certain countries, holding or posting some online events can result in your arrest.

So in Australia, the cops arrested a pregnant woman for holding an event on her Facebook account. It wasn’t much of an event as it was an incitement of law in an anti-lock down post on Facebook.

This happened in Victoria, Australia.point 33 | To be precise, her house is located in  Ballarat, northwest of Melbourne where some police officers entered her home with a warrant and started to read aloud her rights as a citizen.point 185 | 1

During the arrest, she repeatedly told the officers that she was pregnant and her appointment was in a few minutes. Zoe said “Excuse me? Why on earth are you even arresting me for? I am pregnant with an ultrasound appointment in an hour.”

She continued: “I’m in my pajamas, my two kids are here and my third one is with me, too! What do you guys even think you’re doing?”

Apparently, she started and posted an event on her Facebook account.point 169 | The event read as “Freedom Day Ballarat.point 209 |

” This event had a description and an open invitation to people of Ballarat to come and join her to shun the laws and join for freedom.point 115 | Her post says:  “Anyone from Ballarat please join us in our fight for freedom and human rights!”point 208 | 1

This mother of two, with an oncoming third child, did insist the police officers she hadn’t made any offense in whatsoever form they think it was. The reason, according to her, isn’t even solid enough to arrest her. According to her, it’s just an event and there’s nothing wrong. It’s a basic human right to get up and stand for whatever they believe in as long as it’s not hurting anyone.

Although her boyfriend, with the infant child in his arms, insisted that she will delete the post right away. The cops told that the event is already there and a bit of havoc is now there. 

“No use to delete the post now, the offense has been made.” One officer said as he was putting the pregnant mother in handcuffs.

Although thankfully, Zoe is free on bail, she’s still going to Ballarat Magistrates Court on January 25 next year to face her statement and charges.point 308 |
