A woman was caught on camera drying panties underneath plane air vents.

The bizarre moment was recorded by a fellow passenger who zoomed in on the lady in front of him while she pressed her underwear against her seat’s air vents presumably to dry it faster.

In the one-minute clip, the woman could be seen turning the panties around to accelerate the drying process while shocked passengers exchanged glances and watched on in silence.

The video was shared online by LADbible under the caption: “And the award for the worst airline passenger goes to…”

It has since racked up over 8 million views with the majority of viewers saying the woman was “disgusting” and inconsiderate of other passengers.

“I’d be damned if I’d be sitting there filming that shit on my phone & I’d be demanding the airline crew to ask her to stop doing that like yesterday! That is grotesque!!!! How unhygienic!!!” someone wrote.

“It doesn’t matter whose underwear it is. YOU SHOULDN’T DO THAT ON A PLANE!!!! It’s a shared space. You should have respect for other ppl,” another said.

A third suggested: “Honestly she should be banned from flying forever.”

Some viewers, however, ran to the woman’s defense saying the underwear might have belonged to one of her children and that she could have been forced to wash and dry it after an “accident.”

“Maybe the underwear isn’t hers, she might have kids and forgot to pack extras,” one viewer wrote.

“It’s possible those aren’t even hers but she should be more considerate regardless. Ppl do weird s*** under pressure,” another said.
