A woman has opened up about her “fun year” as she admitted to sleeping with twelve different men in the year after she caught her husband cheating on her.

50-year-old Kate Harvey from Melbourne, Australia, was left devastated after finding out that her husband of 25 years and the father of her three children had had an affair.

While the news of her husband’s cheating brought her to her knees at first, Kate managed to stand up for herself after taking more than two years to overcome the trauma she had suffered.

Since January last year, Kate also learned to let herself have fun with other partners and went on to sleep with more than a dozen men.

“I stopped counting after a while. The youngest I’ve slept with was 28 and the oldest was 48,” the woman revealed as she appeared on SBS’s Insight.

“My sweet spot is 38 to 44.”

While Kate admitted that s*x with her ex-husband was “fun and fulfilling at times,” she is now looking forward to actively exploring life under the sheets after living the majority of her life suppressing her s*xual side.

“Things like rough play and role play and using toys more and all of these things which is a difficult conversation to have with someone you’re in a long-term relationship with,” the 50-year-old added.

“The younger guys are quite fit so they can pick you up and push you against the wall and throw you on the bed.

“In my personal and professional life I’m the one in charge so it’s lovely to give up that control and just be controlled and dominated.”
