A woman has broken down in tears after getting a blackout neck tattoo as it altered the shape of her face.
Taking to TikTok, the woman who goes under the username @spaceatmidnight showed her new tattoo but it is evident that she regretted her decision.
She can be seen trying to hold her tears as her lower chin, cheeks, and half of her neck were blacked out with ink.
“I’m having a whole entire identity crisis,” she expressed, adding: “because it slightly alters the shape of my face.”
Even though she regretted her decision, the woman revealed that she had thought about it long and hard before finally getting the blackout tattoo on her neck.
She explained that she draw and painted it on her skin but problems started when the tattoo artist painted it slightly above her jawline.
“It’s on my actual face,” she said. “I feel like my face is smothering into my neck.”
Internet users were quick to share their thoughts, with one person commenting: “Breathe in and let go. This has happened, it will look better when the swelling goes down. This moment will pass and you will be okay.”
Another said: “Maybe it’s swelling I’d imagine that the skin would swell a bit with a tattoo like that. maybe give (it) a day.”
Others expressed their disbelief at what the tattoo artist had done, with one person saying: “I feel you a thousand percent, you are not overreacting.”
