A mother who has tattoos covering almost every inch of her body has revealed that she is ready for baby number eight.
Melissa Sloan, 46, admits that many people try to stay away from her because of her appearance but she insists that some of her children love her tattoos.
She revealed that she started getting designs in her 20s and she has not stopped having new ones. But her decision to change her appearance has led to her being isolated.
From being banned from a local pub and barred from school nativity plays to not getting a full-time job, the mother-of-seven’s bizarre look has usually been met with prejudgment.
Her tattoos have also left her family divided.
While her two youngest children love the art on her skin, her eldest children have left home due to embarrassment.
But the mother-of-seven wants to stay positive, revealing that she is now ready for baby number eight.
In an interview with the Daily Star, she said: “I want another baby soon […] I’m trying for another baby. I told the nurse this the other day and she was shocked, her eyes popped out!
“See I haven’t had s*x for three years but my kids keep asking for a brother or sister.”
Melissa said that she doesn’t mind that her baby will never get to see her face without ink as that has also been the case with her two youngest kids.
She also claims that her two youngest children, Summer and Autumn, become terrified when she covers up her tattoos with foundation and makeup.
“They burst out crying and even my dog looked twice,” she expressed. “I wanted a change. I wanted to challenge myself but the kids were scared they wanted me back.”
