Nick Cannon has revealed that he regrets not having children with his ex-girlfriend Christina Milian even after they talked about it.

The 42-year-old is a father to 12 children with six mommas and it is a bit difficult to keep track of them all.

He first became a dad to twins with Mariah Carey in 2011 and in December 2022, The Masked Singer host announced that he and model Alyssa Scott welcomed their second child together – his 12th in all.

In between the two events, Cannon also welcomed children with four other women: Abby De La Rosa, LaNisha Cole, Brittany Bell, and Bre Tiesi.

Before tying the knot with Carey, Cannon was in a relationship with Milian until he cheated on her – something the singer only found out after checking his phone.

Speaking with The Shade Room, the actor said there is one person he wishes he had children with and it was his ex.

“Everybody talks about having kids (in relationships),” he said.

“If I say this, I know it’s gonna go viral. When Christina Milian and I were doing ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing,’ I remember when I found out she was pregnant, I was like, ‘Dang, man,’ but I was so happy for her,” Cannon went on.

“I remember we were kids in love, early on, and so we talked about that,” he added.

“But to each his own. Life plans it out. The universe gives it how it’s supposed to be given.”

Cannon and Milian dated from 2003 to 2005 but he later revealed that they ended their relationship after she found out that he had cheated on her.

“I was wrong for not being what she wanted me to be. She knew from the jump. We were friends for months before we even got into it, and when we got into it, I was like … ‘Yo, anything remotely like a relationship, I don’t want no parts of it,’” Cannon said, according to US Magazine.
