Men Who Eat Meat Should Be Banned From Having Children Because Their ‘Toxic Masculinity’ Contributes To Climate Crisis, Animal Rights Group Claims

An animal rights group has sparked outrage after suggesting that male meat eaters should be banned from procreating.

Citing research claiming that men contribute to 41% more greenhouse gas emissions than women, PETA Germany claimed that “toxic masculinity” and meat-eating habits are the reason why males are bigger polluters than females.

The branch further sparked fury by blaming the climate crisis on meat consumption, particularly sausages which remain a staple food throughout the European country.

“Who doesn’t know them, the suburban fathers handling beer bottles and barbecue tongs, who sizzle 70-cent sausages on their $700 grill,” Daniel Cox of PETA Germany said.

“The zucchini provided by the visitor is viewed with suspicion and tolerated only reluctantly.”

The divisive team leader went on to suggest that women should “go on a s*x strike” to teach men a lesson and that males who eat meat should be banned from having children.

“The fact that Germany’s ‘grill masters’ believe they have to prove their masculinity to themselves and their peers by consuming meat is not only to the detriment of the animals. Now there’s scientific evidence that toxic masculinity also harms the climate,” Cox added.

Speaking of the proposed s*x ban, the activist went on: “After all, every child not born saves 58.6 tons of CO2-equivalent per year.

“For all fathers who still grill meat and still want children with a future worth living on a livable planet, we recommend changing their lifestyle.”

PETA’s post also made a reference to the post of Sandrine Rousseau of the French Green Party who branded grilling meat as a symbol of toxic masculinity.

While some people were quick to praise the animal rights group for “standing up to animal eaters,” others suggested they should mind their own business and leave the rest of us alone.

After the headlines went viral, politicians began responding to PETA’s proposal with one German MP, Alois Rainer, branding the idea as “total nonsense.”

The news also reached the UK where a female MP, Alicia Kearns, called the proposal “sexist” as she insisted it asks women to use s*x as a weapon against men. She also said it was sexist to assume that women don’t like to grill/eat meat and that they don’t like s*x as much as men.
