American Pie star Jennifer Coolidge has revealed that she slept with around 200 people after her role in the 1999 film.
Speaking to Variety, the actress who is best known for playing Stifler’s mother in American Pie, said: “There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
In the movie, her character attempted to seduce her son’s classmate Paul Finch, played by Eddie Thomas.
Coolidge’s character in the comedy film then slept with Finch and they went on to have more flings, giving her the reputation of a Mother I’d like to f*** (MILF).
The movie, which also featured Shannon Elizabeth, Eugene Levy, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein and Jason Biggs, made over $235 million worldwide.
Coolidge’s impressive performance led to her coming back for sequels including American Pie 2, American Wedding, and American Reunion.
The actress also played roles in Legally Blonde, The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy, A Cinderella Story, and a small role on Friends.
Talking about ‘The White Lotus,’ she revealed that she almost rejected her role as she was feeling unready and depressed due to the pandemic.
Fortunately, “a really smart, savvy, very blunt friend” managed to convince her to take the part.
“I didn’t like the way I looked,” she said of her appearance on the show.
“But did I change it for ‘The White Lotus’ 2? No! I didn’t change anything!”
Coolidge also said of her experience on the show: “I feel like the coach asked the other actors to let me dribble the ball more. Give the ball to Jennifer once in a while. I get to shoot now.”
