The Duke of Cambridge is turning 40 and he is very at peace with himself as his marriage to Kate Middleton is stronger than ever and being a father to three wonderful children has given him contentment.
Prince William’s relationship with his father, Prince Charles, is also harmonious. However, the only concern is his tainted bond with his younger brother, Prince Harry, as their relationship is still at ‘rock bottom,’ his friend told Daily Mail’s Rebecca English.
When asked whether they thought William with ever repair his relationship with the Duke of Sussex, a friend said: “That’s a hard question to answer. The truth is they have got to find some common ground again.”
William’s friend said that the Duke of Cambridge believes his brother has crossed a line by throwing accusations.
They said that William is “allergic to drama” but Harry still aired their “family laundry on a global scale.”
“Truthfully, William thinks Harry has been sucked into an alien world and there’s f*** all he can do about it.
“But he does want Harry to be happy, and if he stops throwing dust in their faces, then maybe he will find a way to forgive and forget.”
Aside from feeling betrayed, William also thinks that his wife Kate was ‘massively disrespected’ by Harry’s wife, Meghan.
During last year’s Oprah interview, the Duchess of Sussex claimed that it was the Duchess of Cambridge who made her cry before her wedding and not the other way around. She also said that Kate even brought her some flowers as an apology.
“It obviously never occurred (to Meghan) that they were a peace offering, not an apology,” an insider said.
“Despite much provocation, both William and Catherine have tried to keep the peace more than anyone will ever realize.”
But William is now looking forward to the future. He and his wife want to make sure their family enjoys a carefree upbringing, to be closer to both Her Majesty and the Middleton family and away from the spotlight.
