A grandmother who spent a fortune on cosmetic procedures has opened up about the venture that sees her earn up to $18,000 a night.
54-year-old Sila Star from Miami, Florida, is a grandmother of two and an escort who has been working in the industry for more than two decades.
As the woman revealed, she has so far already spent more than $150,000 on plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures. Nevertheless, she believes that all of it was worth it now that she earns $ 18,000 a night thanks to her unconventional job.
“My kids hate that I’m an escort – but they’re not paying the bills. I do wish my kids could understand that this is the career I’ve chosen, it has supported them their entire lives, and it’s not as bad as they think it is,” the mom and grandmom told Truly.
“What I love about being an escort is the freedom, and I get to meet a lot of fun and interesting people. And I get to have a lot of s*x.”
Though she doesn’t receive much support from her family’s side, Sila insists that retirement is not an option she would consider in the near future.
She further revealed that her clients include a variety of people from “CEOs and pro athletes” to “celebrities” and other rich people who are after the “cougar experience.”
To make sure she stays in high demand, the escort now spends as much as $25,000 a month on cosmetic procedures and designer clothes.
“It’s important to spend a lot on my appearance, I need to maintain my looks and my youth for my career,” Sila says.
“A lot of people are judgmental and don’t really know the true benefits and how I really help a lot of people’s lives.
“People assume I’m a bimbo. I’m not a bimbo – a bimbo is someone who has no intelligence but is attractive. I’m actually very intelligent and attractive.”
While Sila doesn’t let the opinions of strangers affect her career, she admitted to feeling worried about the effects of her job on her relationship with her children.
“Because my children don’t like my job, I try to keep it very separated and not involve them in any way or even talk about it too much to respect them,” she concluded.
“I enjoy being single, I’m pretty independent and I wanna do what I want, when I want. But sometimes I admit it can get a little bit lonely, it would be nice to have a companion but we’ll see what happens.”
