Teenage Girl Left HORRIFIED After Finding A MOTH In Her McDonald’s Chicken Wrap


A teenage girl was left in shock after discovering a flying insect toasted to the outside of her McDonald’s garlic mayo chicken wrap.

17-year-old Diann and her mom, 45-year-old Carlie, ordered McDo from UberEats only to be in for a big surprise when it was time to consume their food.

As the pair explained, Diann had found a flying insect resembling a moth inside her chicken wrap before taking the dead animal out to take a better picture of it.

The British mom and daughter also explained that they ordered their food from the McDonald’s restaurant at Jarman Park in Hemel Hempstead, a location known for its high hygiene rating.

“I had like one or two bites, but I like to look at my food before I eat it, so that’s when I noticed it, and I was like ‘what the hell?’” Diann recalled.

“So I pulled it out and put it on the wrap to show my mum. At first I thought it was like some sort of cricket, but when I looked closer it looked like it had wings, so it must have been some sort of moth or fly. I actually felt sick.”

Speaking of the unfortunate discovery, the teen’s mom added: “You can actually see – it looks like a moth, and the moth has actually been toasted with my daughter’s wrap.

“Thank god she dissects her food before she eats. If it was me, I’d have eaten it and not even seen it. She said it was inside the wrap, and she pulled it out and put it on the outside to bring it down to show me.”

As Carlie added, the incident makes her wonder how many bugs and insects they might have eaten in the past without even knowing about it.

A spokesperson for the McDonald’s restaurant in question has since insisted that food quality is of utmost importance to them and that they’ve received a 5-star hygiene rating just months ago.
