A woman claims she spotted her late daughter’s ghost in one of her wedding photos.
Sharing her story on the internet, Tahlia Murphy from Australia revealed that her daughter had passed away at the age of 17 months just three months before the girl’s mom and dad were set to get married.
Heartbroken by the loss, Tahlia and her partner, Cecil, decided to push through with the wedding and honor their late daughter with the sacrament of marriage.
After the ceremony, Tahlia and Cecil were reviewing their wedding shots only to spot a mysterious, ghostly figure in one of their photos.
The picture in question shows the bride and the groom sharing a kiss and embracing each other on a patch of grass. In the background, one can see trees and other vegetation with an open field behind it.
If you zoom in closely enough, however, you might also be able to spot what resembles a figure of a child behind the tree to the left.
“My 12-year-old daughter started crying. Our four-year-old was like, ‘Can we go back and get Totty and bring her home?’” Tahlia explained as she recalled the moment they spotted the “ghost” in the photo.
“Then our son was like, ‘Why can she come to the wedding but she wasn’t allowed for Christmas?’ It’s just hard to explain to kids who don’t understand why we couldn’t bring her home.”
Tahlia has since admitted that she doesn’t believe in many things but is convinced that her late daughter was “there to watch myself and her dad get married to honor her life.”
