JUST IN: Bob Saget’s Widow Opens Up About DATING Again Less Than Two Years After The Comedian Tragically Died

Bob Saget’s widow has spoken out about her ‘guilt’ as she started dating again 18 months after the late comedian died.

The actor away in January 2022 after he fell in his hotel room in Florida. His family said in a heartbreaking statement at that time: “Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us.

“They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”

The grieving family added: “In the weeks since Bob’s passing, we have been overwhelmed with the incredible outpouring of love from Bob’s fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful.

“As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter.”

Kelly Rizzo, Saget’s widow, also took to Instagram and shared a lengthy post, sharing how her late husband ‘truly lived life to the fullest’ and how much ‘I will miss this.’

Rizzo now told Daily Mail that even though it may have been hard to picture herself with another man, she has now accepted the idea.

“In the first year, I couldn’t even process what that would be like,” she said. “And you get to a point where you’re like, alright, this is something that I could see. And what’s interesting is, there was a long period of time where I would almost feel guilty for even thinking about it.”

She also shared that his family, including his children and ex-wife, support her.

“I’m grateful that I’m still so close with his girls. Even his ex-wife, and I talk all the time, and she’s just so wonderful, and has been such a rock throughout everything.”
