On April 2 earlier this year, Cook was shot by a man named Alan Colie who was confronted by the content creator while collecting a food order at Virginia’s Dulles Town Center in Sterling.

In the moments before the shooting, Cook could be seen shoving his phone in Colie’s face while saying: “Hey dips**t, quit thinking about my twinkle.”

After asking Cook to stop three times, Colie pulled out his gun and shot the prankster as the latter continued following him and advancing toward him.

Following Colie’s arrest, the delivery man was charged with the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, aggravated malicious wounding, and discharging a firearm inside a building.

Now, however, Colie was found not guilty of aggravated malicious wounding after pleading innocence saying he felt threatened by Cook.

He was found guilty of shooting inside an occupied dwelling and is still awaiting the ruling on the lesser firearms count that could see him jailed for up to ten years if he is found guilty.

Despite getting shot in his lower chest, Cook vowed to continue making similar content in the future. Since then, he has already made and shared several other videos.

“I was playing a prank and a simple practical joke, and this guy didn’t take it very well,” he said while his legal team argued in court that Colie’s reaction was excessive and that Cook never threatened Colie.
