BREAKING: Gabby Petito’s Family File New $50 MILLION ‘Wrongful Death’ Lawsuit Against The Police


Gabby Petito’s family has filed a new mega lawsuit against law enforcement authorities worth $50 million.

According to local media outlets, the lawsuit was filed with claims of wrongful death against Moab police as the family claims the cops failed to see that their daughter Gabby was in a terrifying and life-threatening situation with her killer boyfriend by her side.

The notice contains the officers in the tourist town of Moab. According to the claims, the officers didn’t bother to see how the victim was in danger of domestic abuse at the hands of Brian Laundrie.

Meanwhile, the family has proven how the haunting video entailing body cam footage that was filmed last year during the summer clearly showed how angry and upset Gabby had been. She was also seen to be crying while talking to officers belonging to the Utah Police Department regarding a fight that she had engaged in with her boyfriend.

And then, towards the end of August of last year, news about her chilling murder surfaced as cops rushed to find her but couldn’t locate her on time until it was too late and she had been killed while her remains were dumped in a park in Wyoming.

The body was retrieved on September 18 by officers and by that time, Brian Laundrie had already gone back home to Florida. However, he managed to flee from his parent’s home and took his own life, nearly 3 days later.

The couple is believed to have engaged in a heated brawl that ended up with Brian killing Gabby while the couple was embarking on a cross-country van trip.

The notice says there were clear signs that things weren’t right between the two but the officers still refused to intervene and allowed the duo to leave, after requiring them to spend one night away from each other.

Do family now alleges that if the officers handling the matter were trained properly, they would have picked up on the situation and realized that it was not safe to let them go, giving out a different response and preventing Gabby’s death.
