Pictures Of Smoldering Wrecks Of Russian Tanks Revealed As Moscow ADMITS Almost 500 Troops Have Been Killed And 1,600 Injured


Moscow has reported that 498 of its soldiers have been killed and around 1,600 have been injured since President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine.

However, Ukrainian authorities have reported that over 5,800 Russian troops have been killed as the country puts up a strong resistance against invaders.

According to reports, the Kremlin has insisted that its losses are significantly lower than the numbers Ukraine reported.

Spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said today that 498 Russian soldiers have been killed and 1,597 were injured. He also assured that their families are getting all the needed assistance.

Konashenkov also claimed that neither cadets nor consripts have been involved in the attack in Ukraine.

This comes after Ukraine reported that 5,840 Russian soldiers have been killed since the start of the invasion.

A general staff said in a Facebook post that Ukrainian troops have destroyed more than 200 tanks, 61 aircraft, 862 armored vehicles, nine anti-aircraft systems, 60 fuel tanks, 85 artillery systems, and had seized 40 Russian rockets.

Photos emerged from the streets of Ukraine showing charred ruins of Russian tanks as the invasion continues.

Some of the pictures were taken from the town of Bucha, where armored vehicles and tanks were annihilated.

More than 870,000 people have already fled the country. The UN refugee agency has warned that the number will soon cross the 1 million mark.

Others have taken shelter underground in basements, metro stations, and makeshift shelters.

The International Criminal Court has confirmed that a probe will be launched into Russia’s bombing campaign.

Prosecutor Karim Khan said: “I wish to announce that I have decided to proceed with opening an investigation into the situation in Ukraine, as rapidly as possible.

“I am satisfied that there is a reasonable basis to believe that both alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity have been committed in Ukraine.”
