One woman is sharing her awful near-to-death experience that took place while she was engaging in intimacy with her partner.
The woman explained how she and her husband were open to trying out new positions for s*x but little did she know about the harmful dangers that they came with.
“Orgasms are always great for me and as every woman says, the more the better. But while trying to achieve just that, I almost died”- the anonymous woman who hails from Mississippi explained.
The patient revealed how she managed to pop her aorta during her intercourse with her partner, just as she had orgasmed and reached climax.
“I felt a sudden pop in my chest and I wasn’t quite sure what it could be. The pain was intense and it started to radiate toward my back region. I was confused and I knew that I need to seek help on an urgent basis”- she continued.
The woman’s incident was so severe that it managed to land itself in the form of a new medical article for a research paper that was published recently to raise awareness on the issue.
The woman continues to mention how her legs had been pressed right against her chest during her pleasure-filled experience and that is probably what resulted in the whole dangerous situation.
Therefore, the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital’s emergency room, after complaints of repetitive stabbing chest pains. She called them the most severe or intense form of pain that she ever witnessed in her life.
Other complaints included nausea and shortness of breath and when her vitals were checked, she had intensely high blood pressure too.
Doctors diagnosed her with an aortic intramural hematoma that could result in a full-blown tear in the aorta, which is the main blood vessel supplying blood to the heart. Hence, if she was left untreated, she could have died immediately.
