Grieving loved ones also revealed that Emmett was passionate about music, dancing, and animals, and that she was working as a stylist at Z & Hair Co before her premature passing.

“She was cherished and adored by all who knew her,” the family wrote.

Paying respects to the dedicated musician, who competed in The New Zealand Pipe Band Championships and participated in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo festival, was also Pipe Major Jarrod Cawood who recalled Rebekah’s “vibrant smile” and “genuine care” for other people.

Since the tragic news, Rebekah’s family asked for donations to be made to the SPCA (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in lieu of floral tributes to honor the late hairstylist’s love for animals.

Our thoughts remain with Rebekah’s loved ones during this challenging time.
