JUST IN: 22-Year-Old Woman Who Was KILLED On Christmas Day Has Been IDENTIFIED


The young woman who was killed in a hit-and-run car crash on Christmas day has been identified as Maria Carolina Do Nascimento Migel, 22.

According to reports, police tried to stop a car before it crashed into another vehicle on the Brent Cross flyover in London.

Sadly, Ms. Migel was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her grieving family have paid tribute to their ‘little star’ and ‘beloved daughter’ as they try to raise money for her body to be flown back to Brazil.

The GoFundMe page has reached $21,000 in just four days.

Heartbreaking tributes have poured in, with one person describing Ms. Migel as ‘very sweet and cheerful, Maria was a person dear to everyone.’

Four men aged 32, 29, 29, and 21, have been arrested in connection with the car crash but have since been released on bail.

According to reports, the fatal crash occurred at around 3:45 am on Christmas day when police on patrol ordered a car to stop.

Officers said that the vehicle followed the car when it drove away without stopping.

Only moments later, that same vehicle was involved in a collision. Maria, who was a passenger, was declared dead despite efforts of the London Ambulance Service.

The driver of the car in which the 22-year-old was in suffered a minor injury.

In a heartbreaking message, the family wrote on the GoFundMe page: “Our dear Princess Maria tragically passed away this Christmas morning in a car accident in London, England.

“Respecting her mother’s wishes, she would like to bring her body back to Brazil so that she can rest in her hometown and close to her entire family.”

Authorities are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A spokesperson for Scotland Yard said: “Two men, aged 29, and a 21-year-old man were arrested on Sunday December 25 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

“A 32-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday December 27 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

“They have all since been bailed pending further inquiries.”
