31-year-old Nikita Piil was heard screaming for help after getting attacked by her two massive Rottweilers last Saturday. While the reasons for the dog attack remain shrouded in mystery, the young lady previously referred to her pets are her “whole world.”

While Nikita was getting bitten and pulled by the two beasts, her neighbors watched on in horror and tried their best to stop the attack to no avail.

Eventually, the police arrived at the scene but failed to subdue the dogs with tasers. Firearms were then used and one dog was fatally injured in the process. The other remains in police custody.

Nikita suffered major blood loss and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. She then underwent emergency surgery in an attempt to save her arm.

Now, the breeder who sold the two Rottweilers to the woman has spoken out and placed the blame for the attack on the owner.

“It’s not likely that a rottweiler would attack anybody for no reason,” the breeder, who chose to remain anonymous, told The West.

“In this instance, there must have been a dog fight between the two dogs and I feel that maybe the owner has gotten involved to try and separate the dogs and somehow gotten in between it.

“Watching any two dogs having a fight is traumatic for any owner. Especially trying to separate them on your own.”

The breeder also hit back at critics who have since launched a campaign calling for the “dangerous” breed to be banned.

“We don’t breed dogs for fighting. We don’t breed dogs for security. We mainly breed them for show and to place them in family units,” they added.

“The bloodlines of that dog are from show lines so they are absolutely not known to [attack].”

While the breeder suggested the owner must have done something wrong to trigger the attack, they admitted that Nikita took good care of her dogs and that they were “very well-kept and very well-loved.”
