Actor Will Smith is going public with some shocking revelations that he happened to witness while shooting for his movie Emancipation.
The leading actor in the world of Hollywood did not shy away from mentioning how he was spat on by one of his own co-stars. And fans couldn’t help but wonder what that scene was all about.
This movie sees Will Smith play the character of Peter who is a slave that flees on over to a plantation located in Louisiana. This is where he starts his tortuous journey in the north, far away from the cold-blooded hunters who are out there to catch him.
But some characters on the set may have been too carried away by the role and the sounds of the story. And that’s because they in reality ended up spitting on the celeb. And let’s not forget to mention how something of that sort was never outlined or a part of the script.
Smith brought up the intense scene while filming with his three kids. The interview was a part of a recent Red Table Talk session and that’s where the celeb was as real and raw as could be.
He added how he did realize while filming how this journey was not going to be easy and it was just so spiritually taxing and draining physically and mentally. And then all of a sudden, he details what happened on day one on the movie set.
There was this one scene where one actor gently leans down in his face and asks, ‘you a cold one, ain’t you?’ and then he turned to his daughter and mimed spitting on her.
The celeb then reenacted the horrifying reaction he had to the shocking and unexpected spit, getting a huge laugh out of his three children. While he failed to outline the name of the colleague, it’s definitely one memorable event that’s engraved in his head forever! Yikes!
