In the same way, the UN atomic chief highlighted how dangerous the entire situation was and that the time had come for the world to realize that Russia’s occupation of the nuclear power plant is a very dangerous situation.

On the other hand, Rafael Gross explained how it was beyond outrageous how Putin and his men had captured a nuclear plant as large as this and even taken command by seizing power from those that should have been in charge.

“You simply cannot start digging up trenches in such a risky situation and surrounding. You are giving a higher probability to having power failures in the area and that spells disaster for not only all of Europe but the rest of the world”- he further went on to elaborate.

It has been more than a month since Putin’s troops evacuated the area and seized complete control. At that time, rumors continued about how levels were going above the desirable limit, sparking great concerns.

During today’s conference, it appears as if the situation is better but the atomic chief revealed how there isn’t any major reason to celebrate as the threat always remains as Ukraine is in the line of war at this very moment.

“We are following the situation very closely and I would say the levels are in their normalcy but there are definitely some days where they continue to fluctuate and there’s a major threat”- he explained.

The news comes after Ukraine’s officials claim Russians are wreaking havoc by driving around in their armored vehicles in the area, spreading dust. Simiarly, they spoke about how they feared the Russians had been exposed to nuclear radiation as they continue to build fortifications in the surrounding.
