Amazon Employees claim to have been left stunned after they were forced to walk over the dead remains of one of their fellow colleagues.
Sources from local media outlets headlined how the company chose to carry on with work as usual, despite the man suffering from a fatal heart attack that tragically took away his life.
Amazon employees saw how giant cardboard boxes were used to cordon off the area where the man passed away and he lay there as paramedics arrived.
But when employees went to see, they were told to look from a distance while being encouraged to go back to work. And as anyone can expect, people were not happy. They were furious at the level of carelessness on display. They didn’t think it was alright by any means.
The employee who died was outlined to be one of the most hardworking and devoted employees you’d come across in a really long time.
He was identified as 61-year-old Rick Jacobs who happened to be working at the firm’s warehouse for an overnight shift. But tragically this is where he collapsed after suffering a fatal heart attack. He soon passed away.
The fact that many were told to continue to work and not have a proper investigation conducted to figure out the circumstances of his death had fellow colleagues raging.
“Is it not common courtesy to finish this investigation and determine more about his death’s circumstances? It’s like we were told to walk over his dead body!”- mentioned one very upset person.
The lengthy posts of staffers went on to slam Jeff Bezos and his firm for not having any value or respect for human life and instead, just worrying about filling up their pockets with more funds.
