The final videos of the four Idaho students who were murdered inside their shared house in a horrifying attack have been revealed.
The heartbreaking videos were filmed inside their shared home in Moscow and also featured the small dog named Murphy, who survived the attack and is now being cared for by a ‘responsible’ person, police revealed.
According to reports, a killer broke into the house on November 13 and stabbed three of the five roommates to death, and also murdered one of the girls’ boyfriends.
The videos show Murphy along with owner Kaylee Goncalves and other victims Xana Kernodle.
The victims lived a happy college life, sharing a six-bedroom house with Bethany Funke and Dylan Mortensen, who survived the horrifying attack.
In their final weeks, the girls can be seen dancing in Halloween costumes and also impersonating each other on TikTok videos.
The police department faced criticism for ruling out the skinning and killing of another dog weeks earlier as a possible clue in the investigation.
“I can understand the local cops don’t want to spread fear amongst a local community already on edge, especially considering no suspect, no motive or no murder weapon have been identified, but to convincingly rule it (the dog killing) out seems a very interesting and somewhat rash decision,” a source told RadarOnline.
“It’s been long established that individuals who have the capability of killing four people in this manner start their killings on animals. Dahmer. Bundy. Berkowitz. This is a red flag, and it shows murderous traits,” the person close to the investigation told the outlet.
“These are serial killer tendencies.
“Police owe it to the community to explain how they can unequivocally dispel a link between these two instances.”
It is still not clear whether the killer was someone who knew the victims or had been in the house before, or if it was a stranger who had been following them.
