Day 9 of the defamation trial involving actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard took another dramatic turn when police officers were called in to testify on the witness stand.
According to local media reports, the cops were questioned about one particular incident where Amber Heard had made a police call regarding a complaint of domestic abuse.
Therefore, cops claimed there was absolutely no evidence that could potentially prove how an act of domestic violence had been carried out. Moreover, the cops searched long and hard and found nothing. Therefore, they left after providing their business card to Amber Heard.
“We found that there was no crime committed. Hence, we informed Amber Heard of that and opted to leave, after providing our business card”- the cops continued.
This particular incident is said to have taken place in April of 2019 in Virginia.
The new finding in the case is said to be a very strong element worth a notice that could potentially turn the fate of this case around.
This is also in line with the previous calls by the actress, who tried to prove to the jury that she was slammed with a cell phone that was thrown by the actor. Even in that case, the cops had arrived and tried to gather evidence that they couldn’t find. And in the end, they concluded that the celeb’s eyes were red from crying so much but that was about it.
With such groundbreaking evidence in front of the world, many critics believe things are going less in favor of Amber Heard and more towards Johnny Depp. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section and be sure to SHARE the story with others too.
