Many called the tribute a very unique one but when you actually come to think of it, it’s better than nothing because these men are fighting for their lives and trying to save their land. So any gesture would be appreciated in that regard.

These tributes were written down in both English language and Ukrainian. Meanwhile, one simply had the name Elizabeth printed across it and nothing else. And then there was another that mentioned, ‘Glory to the Queen!’

The pictures were put up quickly on social media as the forces were seen making an advancing attack on the Ukrainians as they bore down on the main railway station that supplied Russian troops in the east.

Ukraine has been grateful for the United Kingdom’s support in the war against Russia since day one. Moreover, it was also very humbling for the country to see British Prime Minister Boris Johnson make his way to the nation and meet the President when the war was peak and escalation was at an all-time high.
