Heartbreaking CCTV footage is making the viral rounds showing the final moments before a beautiful toddler was beaten to death by his mother’s lover.
Little Kermarni died from the most horrifying abuse inflicted as medical reports showed his entire body being covered in fractures and fatal injuries which ultimately resulted in his tragic death.
In the footage, the toddler is seen holding hands with his mother and just hours later, he was beaten to death by her drug-addict partner who behaved mercilessly against a young soul.
According to local media reports, the suffered a catalog of horrifying injuries in the week before his death took place. And some of them were so severe that experts linked them to those seen in a car crash victim.
The suspected murderer was identified as 32-year-old Nathaniel Pope who was unanimously found guilty of the incident that took place at the child’s own home in Birmingham.
The crown court had cleared the child’s mom of any wrongdoing but did find her guilty of allowing her child’s untimely death.
Each member of the couple was also reportedly found guilty of cruelty against a minor.
As the devasting CCTV footage was played in the court, many couldn’t hold back their tears as the loving toddler was seen in the most debilitated state.
The mother tried to mask his injuries by telling the medical center that her son had a stomach bug after eating fast food but it was evident how that was not the case as his body told another story altogether.
As the 65-day trial came to an end, the judge praised the jurors for their extremely impressive dedication as some of them wept when the verdict was being revealed.
The child’s real cause of death was deemed to be abdominal injuries that were similar to a mighty blow.
