A two-year-old child was found starved to death after being left with no food to fend for himself.
According to reports from local media outlets, the child’s father had passed away from heart disease while his son had died of hunger and starvation.
The terrifying incident was reported to have taken place in New York recently and really blew people’s minds.
David Conde Junior was said to be a beautiful baby boy and he had curly locks that many admired. But hearing about the news of the child’s sudden and tragic death left members of the community in shock and grief for days.
The little child had just learned how to walk, which followed after several surgeries and months of casts and rehabilitation. He was a brave soul and a true fighter but seeing him end up in this manner was just a lot for so many people to accept for obvious reasons.
For now, there has been no indication of any form of trauma covering his body by the coroner’s office but seeing a child this young die of starvation really broke a lot of people’s hearts for obvious reasons.
The members of the neighborhood claim that it was just a little shocking for them to see that the father-son duo had suddenly disappeared. For one week, they were missing as they loved to take little walks or strolls together.
Little did anyone know that the dad’s heart condition would take his life and his child’s life too, in the end.
When the bodies were found, the deputies informed the reporters about how they were contacted to visit the apartment for a welfare check. And they were just horrified to learn about the reality of the situation that stood in front of them.
