Best known for their TV show ‘Chrisley Knows Best,’ Todd, 53, has been sentenced to 12 years behind bars while Julie, 49, has been sentenced to seven years in prison.

According to reports, the couple will also serve 16 months of probation each after their release.

This comes five months after the couple were found guilty on bank fraud and tax evasion charges, with prosecutors saying that Todd and Julie took out $30 million in fraudulent bank loans.

The couple reportedly used the money to fund their lifestyle even before they had become famous, even using a production company to conceal their income from the IRS.

During the trial earlier this year, the couple’s former employee-turned-lover Mark Braddock revealed that he and Todd had a year-long affair in the early 2000s.

Braddock told the jury that he had helped the couple to commit the crimes.

Before the sentencing, officials said that Todd was facing up to 22 years in prison while his wife could’ve served up to 13.

“The Chrisleys are unique given the varied and wide-ranging scope of their fraudulent conduct and the extent to which they engaged in fraud and obstructive behavior for a prolonged period of time,” prosecutors wrote.
