A mother has reportedly been found guilty of tragically murdering her own son during the lockdown.
According to sources from local media outlets, the mother informed the nurse how she wished to get rid of her 4-year-old child for three years but just couldn’t find the means to do it. But when she did, she decided to drown him in the water, while the country was on lockdown.
The suspect was identified as Oluwakemi Badare who is believed to have held her son underwater for more than a minute.
She says she had to make sure that he had died, while he helplessly cried for help. But she continued to torment him and only let go of him when his eyes shut and he passed out due to a lack of oxygen.
The suspect is believed to have struggled with a number of mental health challenges that included the likes of schizophrenia which she even sought assistance.
She was also believed to have been put under the care of social services but after a while, they stopped keeping a tab on her, and an investigation into the case was found.
The 37-year-old mom who was found guilty will reportedly continue to stay inside her mental health hospital for a long period of time regarding the death of her innocent son.
Little Kingswealth was stated to be much loved by all but in the end, he died after social services chose to neglect his mom who was a confirmed mental patient.
The horrifying tragedy is believed to have taken place in the southeast part of London in 2020, sources revealed. Moreover, they also spoke about how the mom was receiving care for her psychological illness for the past three years and hence was in no shape or form to look after her child.
