One landlord from the United Kingdom was left in a horrifying state of shock, thanks to his tenant from hell.
Danny Hermon spoke about how he was forced to keep a deposit worth 5oo Pounds from his respective tenant but little did he know that the costs of cleaning up the mega mess that he would be leaving behind would total way more than just that.
The true cost of the heaps of garbage and human waste left in the home has totaled up to 15,000 Pounds and that’s almost triple the amount that he was expecting in Manchester.
“I was left in a state where I was reportedly digging myself out of the property as my tenant from hell left me with no choice,” Hermon explained.
The landlord says that the tenant who stayed at the residence for nearly 18 years was a nightmare come true has his parting gift was the worst he’d ever seen or heard of in his life.
“The clean-up bill was way more than I could have ever imagined it to be. Moreover, I started to grow terribly suspicious when my tenant was super reluctant to give back my house’s keys,” he explained.
And that’s when he finally discovered the real reason why after the stomach-churning scenes and horrifying smells of garbage and human waste filled every room of the house.
Surprisingly, the tenant was very adamant about how the deposit of 500 Pounds would surely clean up the mess but little did he know that it would be much more than just that.
From the floors and surfaces to the lower walls too, everything was in a dire state. And that means mounds of mold and filth could be seen everywhere.
“Restoring the residence was estimated to be 80 times than just that and it’s safe to say that he was a nightmare come true,” the landlord explained.
