Two teenagers from Iowa have been charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder after they killed their high school teacher.

Jeremy Everett Goodale and Willard Noble Chaiden Miller, both 16, reportedly killed high school Spanish teacher Nohema Graber, 66.

In a recent court filing, prosecutors said that the students observed Graber’s routine before ambushing her and dragging her into the woods.

Graber was reported missing on November 2 at a park in Fairfield and her lifeless body was found that same day.

Officers confirmed that the 66-year-old had suffered ‘inflicted trauma to the head’ and her remains were discovered under a wheelbarrow.

Both Miller and Goodale attended Graber’s Spanish class at Fairfield High School. Police haven’t released a motive.

The teens’ attorneys have asked a judge to move the case to juvenile court. But Jefferson County Attorney Chauncy Moulding argued trying Goodale as an adult as he would be released at the age of 18.

“This prosecuting attorney cannot fathom any combination of programming at any Iowa juvenile facility which could appropriately treat or rehabilitate the defendant if adjudicated as a juvenile,” he said.

Miller’s lawyer also made a similar request but Moulding resisted.

The teens are now being held in juvenile detention facilities with bonds set at $1 million.

The students, who have been charged as adults, allegedly took to social media to post about the attack but police haven’t given further details.

Graber’s grieving children said they forgive their mother’s alleged killers, with her son Christian writing: “’I’m sorry I can’t respond to the all of the messages but I’ll just say what I’ve been told. My mother passed away.

“As I understand it was pre attempted murder by two students. I forgive them and feel sorry that they had that anger in their hearts. There’s no point in being angry at them. We should hope that they can find peace in their lives.”
