19-Year-Old Arrested After The Bodies Of His Grandparents, Both 73, Were Found At Their Home


A teenager has been arrested and charged with murdering his grandparents at their home in Livingston, Scotland.

According to reports, police officers broke down the door of their Raeburn Rigg home and found the lifeless bodies of Denis and Mary Fell, both 73.

It is understood that the grandmother suffered from mobility issues and her husband helped her out.

19-year-old Tobyn Salvatore, also known as Jay Fell, was charged with two counts of murder at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Investigators have been carrying out inquiries and speaking to residents in the area.

Flower tributes were left near the grandparent’s home as the entire community grieved.

One neighbor said Mr. and Mrs. Fell were well-known in their area having lived there for over 16 years.

“They’d always say hello if you were passing and were very friendly,” he said. “They have two grown up children and you’d see their son and his kids popping in for a visit on occasion.

“I came home at around 1.30am and the street was just filled with police. I knew something bad had happened but I’d never have imagined it was something like this.”

Another saddened neighbor said: “They were a lovely older couple who really kept themselves to themselves over the last couple of years during the pandemic.

“I’d seen him pushing her in a wheelchair a few times and they have a disabled parking spot right outside their house to make it easier for Mary to get out and about.”

Specialist officers have been searching the scene for evidence and a blue forensics tent has been set up outside the victims’ property.
