Viral video footage is making the rounds on social media where one Russian tank can be seen blowing up another armored vehicle from a distance.
What may appear as a friendly fire incident has gone on to be confirmed as a deadly ambush that was a huge error on the part of the Russians that failed to distinguish between the enemies and the allies.
The video was reportedly captured by a drone in Ukraine that reportedly showed the Russian troops in the Ukrainian village of Dmytrivka.
This is reportedly located towards the west of the country’s capital city of Kyiv.
The news comes as the tank made attempts to try and pull out from the assault on the capital city but it appears that it may have gone in vain as the tank did more damage than it may have actually intended on doing.
If that ambush wasn’t enough, it’s not long before Ukrainian troops come into play and begin a series of explosions through both military and drone attacks.
Sources claim that there are previous videos of the same incident being captured but those were not too clear. But this recent footage appears to have been shot in better quality, making both the Russian tanks more identifiable as they portray the classic ‘V’ symbols.
Some reports have gone as far as making speculations about how the incident could possibly have been done intentionally, in the case of the tank being disabled, as that would make it useless for any Ukrainian troops capturing it.
Putin appears to be increasing the strength of its forces on the country’s east so that it could potentially score a massive victory against Ukraine by outnumbering them in Donbas. This could be the only final saving grace in time as the country’s war timeline has gone down the drain.
