Speaking to Fox News’ Carlson Tucker, former college swimmer Riley Gaines admitted feeling uncomfortable after learning that she would have to share a locker room with Thomas even though the latter has “different parts” according to the young woman.

The University of Kentucky graduate went on to suggest that she and other biological females were forced not only to compete against a transgender swimmer but also undress in front of Thomas.

“That’s not something we were forewarned about, which I don’t think is right in any means, changing in a locker room with someone who has different parts,” Gaines told the TV host.

“So not only were we forced to race against a male, we were forced to change in the locker room with one.”

She continued: “And so then we’re sitting there not even knowing who to talk to, who to complain to, because this kind of all happened behind the scenes and very discreetly.”

Gaines also took a jab at NCAA as she blasted the sports association for failing to protect the integrity of women’s sports and lacking in accountability.

The young lady last competed against Thomas back in March when the two were tied for fifth place in NCAA’s 200-yard freestyle championship.

Following Thomas’ historical win in the 500-yard freestyle, Gaines has repeatedly spoken out against the transgender swimmer and opposed the presence of trans athletes in women’s sports.

“I have received so much support, like it’s insane. Which tells me who the majority is, what the general population thinks even if you’re not an athlete, if you’re not a female. It’s like we said – common sense,” she added.
