Chris Rock has left the world stunned after his shocking claims regarding Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
The couple was torn apart by the star during his recent interview when he was questioned about his thoughts on the duo’s marriage. And that’s when the comedian thought it was alright to comment on the couple’s extra-marital affair.
He used some pretty harsh tones that not a lot of people loved about the couple and how he felt about the bond that they shared. And as you can imagine, there was plenty of resentment regarding the infamous slap from the Oscars.
The recent confession about Smith’s wife was made during a stand-up comedy event by Rock. And it’s safe to say that he has put a few smiles across a few people’s faces but left others dumbfounded.
Red table talk is a very candid and popular show for viewers across the US. But this also happens to be the same show where Jada shocked the world and her own husband by claiming she had an affair with a man that was so young and a prominent name in the industry.
She came out clean and this was not something Will Smith saw coming. And while it was a bold step, it was definitely not one the world saw coming.
The celeb further explained how this was just bizarre to see the couple put up their very personal problems in front of the world and then when he made a joke about the hair, Smith felt the urge to get up on stage and slap him.
“Whoever was there and saw the slap knew that it was less about me and more about them as a couple”- he continued.
“He slapped me because his wife had an affair. He’s suffering from selective outrage. It’s obvious, his face says it all. It was just sad that I had to be the victim of all of this”- Rock continued.
