BREAKING: Son Of Millionaire Parents Arrested After Shooting His Mother And Father In Their New York Mansion


A son of a wealthy businessman was arrested after shooting his parents at their multi-million New York mansion.

65-year-old construction tycoon Rocco Tomassetti and his wife Vinceta Marsicano-Tomassetti were shot in their $3.2 million Long Island mansion on Christmas morning.

The couple were presumably shot by their own son, 29-year-old bodybuilder Dino Tomassetti, who was arrested in New Jersey after pulling the trigger and fleeing the scene.

According to the reports, both of the parents, who were behind the realization of New York City’s skyline, have survived the shooting. It is not clear what condition they are currently in.

Meanwhile, DailyMail.com revealed that the Nassau County police had confirmed the suspect is currently being held in New Jersey where he is awaiting his extradition.

The name of Tomassetti is etched into the state’s construction history, whereas the dynasty was started by Italian immigrant Dino Tomassetti Sr.

On Christmas morning, the family’s Long Island property was seen surrounded by police tape as the investigation into the presumed attempted murder continues.

Though the parents’ condition remains unclear as of this moment, sources have told the Voice that Mr. Tomassetti had suffered more extensive injuries.

Police sources have since also confirmed that Dino, who is a 235-pound bodybuilder, escaped the family home in a Cadillac Escalade before being caught in New Jersey, the Voice reported.

The suspect was arrested by Mahwah Police Department in Bergen County after the New York State Police tracked him down through GPS.

Following the shooting, a woman who claimed to be the 29-year-old’s best friend told the New York Post that Dino was “definitely not” an aggressive person.

The motive for the shooting remains unclear, whereas the charges depend on the outcome of the victims’ condition.
