Singer Sam Smith is feeling the heat from critics and viewers after the launch of his new music video was launched today.

The celeb is being criticized for releasing hyper-sexualized content that many feel is unsuitable for younger audiences. There are also calls for an age restriction to be placed on the content as many claim viewers as young as 5 can gain access to it online through platforms like YouTube.

Sources went into detail on the matter and how YouTube does not have any form of age restrictions, exposing young audiences to inappropriate content.

They even called the video one that was degrading due to so many s*xualized things being mentioned.

“5-year-olds can search this one up and end up watching it without anyone to stop them, we need to act soon!”- stated one critic and many agreed.

Another mentioned how the singer’s take on the raunchy video was a form of art but they disagreed and blasted him for being so controversial and not thinking twice.

They also mentioned how this was not only raunchy and an absolute embarrassment for him but content like this had zero potential for growth as it sent out the wrong message.

Another fan called the singer out for being so vulgar during their videos, adding how it’s an absolute shame because the star has a brilliant voice but poor decision making capabilities to be featured in a video like this.

Others said it was offensive for obvious reasons and while a few loyal fans did come to the star’s rescue by adding how the theme displayed was nothing new and had been on the air for decades, the majority couldn’t see eye to eye with the singer on this one.
