Terrifying reports have gone on to confirm the death of a 36-year-old in Washington, who tried to enter his neighbor’s home.
According to local media outlets, a 59-year-old man homeowner is believed to have gone ballistic after he found out that his lover had spent the night at the neighbor’s following a fight between the couple.
Therefore, he fatally shot the victim several times, when the latter made an attempt to enter his home at about 7:30 pm in the evening on Friday.
The homeowner’s girlfriend was believed to have been staying the night at her neighbor’s because she was just too furious to return, following the very abrupt confrontation between the couple. She feared going back, knowing her partner’s violent nature.
The police have recently spoken about a no-contact order being granted against her partner, as revealed by the authorities.
While the shooter is yet to be identified by the cops, he was taken into police custody immediately after the shooting, as it was revealed by sources.
The Sheriff’s Office says that the thought of the neighbor breaking into the home was just not something that the 59-year-old was willing to entertain and that’s why he took out his weapon and didn’t think twice before carrying out the horrifying murder.
It has been mentioned that the homeowner’s girlfriend chose to spend the night at the neighbor’s of her own personal will and that there was no form of force placed upon her.
Police claim the victim was found dead inside the porch area of the residence, leaving so many in a state of shock and disbelief as to what has happened.
As of now, authorities are carrying out an investigation into the case to figure out more details about the harrowing tragedy.
