A woman was seen going viral on social media after the brutal and bizarre murder of her partner was highlighted in the public eye.
The suspect was accused of stabbing her lover to death in his sleep, at least 17 times until she was sure that he was no more.
But that’s not all, the woman was dubbed as one that’s obsessed with serial killers. And the sheer thought of that has the world shocked beyond words. Even her room was displayed, where the authorities reportedly found images of famous serial killers framed on the walls.
She even collected books related to gangsters and enjoyed watching true crime documentaries. And it seemed like it all really led her into a very dark space.
The judge for the case says the woman embarked on a crime of passion. She tried really hard to portray herself as a victim but that was not happening.
Soon, she was convicted for the horrifying crime at the Winchester Crown Court. Her punishment included a life-in-prison sentence with a minimum of 23 years behind bars.
27-year-old Shaye Groves reportedly used all the tricks that she learned online to kill her man.
This included stabbing him a staggering 17 times and slitting his throat with the help of a knife. But her drama did not end there. She tried to portray herself as an abuse victim, adding how her partner tried to abuse her in bed.
Even the suspect’s alibi was known to have been planned to perfection from watching crime documentaries.
But she was arrested and jailed for her horrifying crime in the end, as the victim’s family grieves the loss of their innocent son.
