A massive fleet of 52 yellow-toned school buses was recently seen gathering together and making their way to Senator Ted Cruz’s residence.
According to local media reports, the incident took place in Houston Texas, where the buses arrived and parked outside the leader’s home, in a bid to send out a powerful message. And that revolved around the number of innocent children that are being killed by gun violence on a routine basis.
Many applauded the efforts as they felt it was high time that a protest was held against gun violence in America.
The buses are believed to carry a total sum of 4,368 empty seats and these each represents the number of kids that have passed away tragically in such senseless acts of violence, since the year 2020.
There were also many items that belonged to the deceased, present inside the buses that sent out a clear reminder of what the country is forced to deal with, thanks to the lack of laws passing such incidents from taking place.
In case you weren’t already aware, so many of the shootings taking place at schools were carried out by teenagers who had the power to buy weapons without any check and balance in the system.
This particular procession is being dubbed the NRA Children’s Museum. It is set up by a famous artist named Manuel Oliver, a father whose son reportedly passed away in a shooting incident in 2018 in Parkland.
“We are going after the money. None of these leaders are loyal to the nation’s Second Amendment. We need to fight for our children’s rights and protect them every step of the way”- the artist explained amid a loud round of applause from all directions.
The father says that the rulers are corrupt and it was time to find a way to better vent out so many people’s emotions peacefully and powerfully. And this seemed to be the right way to do it, according to him.
